About Sadie

Sadie’s story starts with hardship—she was found wandering, painfully thin and blind. She’s come a long way since then. Safely in foster care, she quickly adapted to her surroundings and learned the layout of the house. Her blindness doesn’t hold her back, especially when food is involved; mealtimes are her favorite part of the day, and she’s cooperative with her twice-daily insulin for diabetes. She doesn’t need to be crated and has never misbehaved with things that aren’t hers. House trained and content sleeping in a dog bed next to yours, Sadie is easygoing about the daily routine. She wakes up eager for breakfast and greets the day with happy barks. She genuinely loves people and soaks up all the affection she gets. New dogs can surprise her at first, but once she’s comfortable, she gets along well and enjoys their company. Sadie also gets along with cats and children, making her a good fit for many different homes. Sadie’ll be spayed soon and is up to date on shots. Her adoption requires an approved application and applicants must be within one hour of Cleveland, Ohio. Sadie continues thriving in foster care and is ready to find her perfect home.
