About Brook
Meet bright and bubbly Brook! She’s an active, fun-loving lady with a big heart who thrives on spending time with people and sharing adventures. While staying in her foster home, Brook has opened up and showed just how affectionate she can be—she loves snuggling in bed overnight or stretching out on the couch beside you, head on your lap. Brook is curious, energetic, and always keen to discover new things. She’ll help get you outside for daily walks or runs and especially enjoys time in the fresh air if you’re by her side. Brook has a big appreciation for durable chew toys, and a fenced yard would be paradise for her. In playgroups, she does well with other dogs—playful and friendly—and even on walks she remains polite when passing by barking pups. Another dog in the home may help her settle in and learn routines, but she also shines as a companion to her humans. If you are looking for a dog who’s both active and attentive, Brook delivers. She’s quick to pick up new skills, already armed with sit, paw, down, touch, stay, come, and leave it, thanks to her training classes. Housebroken and responsive in the home, she’s working on mastering her crate and taming her jumpy, excited greetings. Because she loves to roughhouse when excited, Brook is best suited for families without small children at this time. With consistency, she’s adapting to her routine and becoming an excellent housemate. Estimated around 2 years old and about 44 lbs, Brook will make a devoted buddy for someone ready to explore and then unwind together. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
