Cake is a 5 month old, gray and white Tuxedo, shorthair, spayed female kitten. (DOB ~ 7/15/2025) Cake is sweet and cuddly. She loves to approach her foster parents and snuggle up or run around with her other littermates! She also loves to run on the cat wheel or bask in a sunny spot on the floor. She is pretty confident and approaches new situations with healthy curiosity. Cake prefers to be held while sitting down, so she can sit in your lap. She will often try to jump down if we carry her around, but just so that she can play with us or get pets instead of being carried. She loves to snuggle other cats and the people in her foster home, usually to get head scratches and pets. Cake does not enjoy getting her nails trimmed and gets squirmy, but puts up with it anyway. Cake has balanced energy levels. She has plenty of playful kitten energy and will slow down for naps throughout the day. Her favorite thing to do while playing is sprint on the cat exercise wheel. She also loves to play with the wand toys and chase balls or toy mice. Cake is sometimes a little standoffish with other adult cats, but this depends on their individual personalities. She will respect their space appropriately and will sometimes even snuggle up with other cats in her foster home. She would love to be adopted with her brother, Billy!!! She is comfortable around dogs as long as she can have her own spaces too. She has grown up in a foster home seeing and hearing dogs frequently. Cake does well with the respectful with children (Ages 7 & 11) in her foster home and often goes to find them to get pets and cuddles. Cake would love a home that wants to brush and dote on her frequently. She loves the attention from her foster humans and appreciates having a special place to take naps. She would also love some space to run and play when she gets bursts of energy. Her adoption fee is $250. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, negative for FIV&felv, and has been treated for parasites. ---- If you are interested in applying, please send us an inquiry through Petfinder.
