About Gracie
Your new best friend is just one click away. Gracie is a stunning bluetick coonhound originally from Virginia looking for her forever home. She’s used to hound company and would be happiest living with another hound friend by her side, as she truly thrives in their company. Currently located south of Boston, Gracie gets along very well with other dogs, is housebroken, comfortable sleeping in her crate, and an excellent walker on the leash. She’s a quick learner who knows some commands, is smart, and does best with lots of praise and encouragement as she’s more praise-driven than food motivated. Gracie is playful with toys and other dogs, and is equally content curling up for a cuddle and inviting belly rubs on the couch. She likely had a special bond with her original owner and tends to prefer gradual introductions to new people and places, but she adjusts well once she settles in. Gracie has been in a couple of foster homes and had to move due to logistics, not behavior, and while she does not get along with cats due to her prey drive, she is a wonderful match for a dog-loving home. She is available to meet south of Boston. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
