Penny is a year and half old shy girl who came to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She is adjusting to her new life but is looking for a family that will take her home. Penny is nervous when meeting new people but once she is comfortable, she loves to cuddle and snuggle. She will play fetch especially when balls are involved. Her leash skills are improving with daily practice, and she enjoys sniffing and exploring new locations. Her previous owner said that she is crate trained which helps with transitioning to a new home. She can live in a world with other dogs and can walk by them with little issue. Penny would make a wonderful companion for a family that will allow her to progress at her own pace. She is a sweet girl looking for a second chance at life.
