About Peony
Meet Peony Peony is a petite little flower of a puppy with the sweetest soul. At around 5 months old and just 12 lbs, she looks like a tiny blue pittie-but she's so small and dainty that we're guessing she's mixed with something smaller (maybe rat terrier). We expect her to grow into a perfectly medium-sized companion. Peony can be a bit timid when meeting new people or facing new situations, but don't let that fool you-she warms up quickly and blossoms into the most affectionate, gentle puppy. Once she feels safe, she's all soft eyes, wiggly tail, and quiet sweetness. She's wonderfully dog- and cat-friendly, and we think she'd do well with respectful kids too. Peony has a playful, curious side, but she also has a lovely independent streak. She's happy to entertain herself with toys while you get things done... though she may occasionally "borrow" a shoe just to keep things interesting. Peony is making great progress with potty training. She does very well going outside when taken out frequently, and she'll use a potty pad if she can't make it out in time. At night, she sleeps quietly in her kennel and settles in beautifully. She's up to date on vaccines and will be spayed when she's old enough. Like any young puppy, she's still building confidence and continuing her potty-training journey, but she's already showing what a thoughtful, adaptable, and loving companion she'll become.
