I sadly was abandoned in the scorching heat wearing a chain tied to a tree. Thankfully I was found and rescued and taken home. I'm with my rescuer's sibling being well taken care of. Although I'm OK for a few hours alone, I'm not a fan of being left alone all day. Unfortunately my rescuer and her sibling are gone most of the day or one of them would keep me. Anti-anxiety medication and lots of exercise helps, but I much prefer the company of my favorite humans. I'm much better now that I'm settled in, but I would do best in a very active family who is home most of the day, where I can get all the love and attention I deserve. I'm a total catch - I'm house and crate-trained, learning to use a doggie door and know all the good boy commands. I'm a pro at 'sit', 'stay', and 'come', and I walk like a dream on a leash. I'm an active boy who loves going on walks and runs and I'm always up for an adventure, especially if treats are involved! I'm a real people-pleaser and will do just about anything for a tasty reward. I'm a pro at snuggling and will be the perfect companion for a family with children. I'm also a very good boy when it comes to car rides, staying calm and collected, and always ready for the next adventure. And while I'm a well-mannered boy, I do need a watchful eye, as I will make a dash for it if a door is left open!
