Even with her past, Cali remains gentle, trusting, and uncommonly sweet. At about 45 pounds, this Shepherd/Husky mix sticks close to her humans, always ready to share in whatever love she gets. Now 8 years old, Cali is house trained and easy on the leash—no pulling ever. She’s tolerant of other dogs outside but really wants to be the only dog in her home so she can soak up all the attention. Cali would feel most comfortable in a quiet household without kids, as loud noise rattles her. Her bark is rare, and she’s happiest lounging in the sun between her favorite morning and evening walks. Plush toys bring out her playful side, and she is unfailingly respectful in the house. She recently had a dental cleaning, too, so she’s feeling great.
