He attended and graduated from obedience training and has learned some really good skills. Neutered, 2 - DA2PP vaccinations (Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2 (Hepatitis), Parvo, Parainfluenza), Bordatella vaccination, Rabies, Leptosporosis (lepto), dewormed, heartworm tested - Negative, tested and retested for Giardia and Coccidia, monthly heartworm preventation, Simparica flea/ticks preventation and microchipped. There are two categories of vaccines: “core” vaccines that are recommended for all pets, and “non-core vaccines” which may be recommended by your vet based on lifestyle and exposure risk. The core vaccine for dogs are the Rabies vaccine, which is required by law. The second core vaccine for dogs is DA2PP or DHPP vaccine. Chip has all his vaccinations and is safe to join you and your family on your outdoor adventures. Non-core vaccines for dogs include Bordetella, Influenza, Leptospirosis and Lyme. He was dewormed upon entering the rescue and then again 5 days before his health certificate visit (once adopted and ready to travel). This dewormer is issued by our vet.
