About Lorelai
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Lorelai, a vibrant and playful German Shepherd/Hound mix who's about six months young and ready to brighten your world. Rescued from a tough start in unsafe conditions, Lorelai has blossomed into a curious and outgoing puppy. She loves parading around the house in search of packaging to play with, especially cardboard and plastic, and has developed a surprising talent for peeling tape off boxes! Outdoors, Lorelai is happiest helping "with the yard work" by snacking on grass and weeds, earning her the title of resident landscaper in her foster home. Despite a timid start, Lorelai is now front and center in every adventure. She’s incredibly intelligent, quick to learn house rules, and thrives on praise and gentle corrections. Belly rubs and being rocked are favorite downtime activities, but she's always ready for playtime or a hike before relaxing on the couch for a movie night. Lorelai would do best in a home with another playful dog to mentor her, and with older kids and experienced handlers who appreciate the energy and size of a growing large-breed pup. She needs a private yard, patience, and plenty of training from a family that won’t leave her alone or crated all day—her house training is already underway thanks to dedicated foster care! Raising a puppy takes time and heart, but Lorelai’s sweet nature and sparkling personality make every moment worthwhile. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
