About Fijol
Fijol is a 7-year-old Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler who has seen the harsh side of life, but he’s never lost his ability to love. His previous family turned their back on him after a car accident left him with broken back legs—injuries they never treated. Fijol’s legs healed on their own, not quite right, but he fought to walk again despite the pain. After being abandoned at the shelter, he found safety and warmth in a foster home. Now, that chapter is almost over, and Fijol is searching for that one home he has never truly known. He’s lived with enough uncertainty; Fijol deserves consistency and kindness. He’s awkward on his feet, but his spirit picks up wherever people are—he genuinely loves being around them. Fijol needs to be the only dog in the home, but he gets along with children and craves gentle attention. There’s not an endless amount of time ahead, so what matters most to him is finally being part of a family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
