Scout City is a striking Australian Cattle Dog mix, almost six years old and weighing in at a solid 87 pounds. He’s lived a lot of life already. Born in rescue care after his mom came in sick, Scout was the only survivor of his litter. He grew up and was adopted as a puppy, but when his adopter went through a breakup, Scout wound up back at the shelter—no fault of his own. Since then, this big, speckled guy has been boarding, watching the days go by and waiting for someone to choose him for good. Scout can come off shy at first, but when he feels safe, he relaxes and his personality shines. He loves toys, snacks, and hanging out with other dogs (or just chilling solo). He thrives with patient humans who understand his gentle, sensitive side. Scout does have some separation anxiety, but it’s easy to see that what he wants most is a family who won’t give up on him. With his handsome looks and loyal streak, Scout will make a devoted companion for the right home. He’s been neutered and is current on vaccinations.
