Sadie A
AvailableSadie A is a medium-sized, adult, mixed breed girl with a strong possibility of Pit Bull Terrier and Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler in her background. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Sadie is not yet house trained. She is currently in Plano, TX, waiting for her perfect home.
About Sadie A
Sadie A is a sweet, steady girl who enjoys the simple pleasure of a long walk in the park. On a recent group dog walk, she showed how easygoing she is, letting herself be harnessed up without fuss and hopping into the truck calmly. Out and about, Sadie is curious and alert, much more interested in sniffing out her surroundings than demanding affection. She’s mellow in the car, drifting off for a nap on the way home and settling quietly into her kennel afterward. While she notices other dogs, she usually keeps to herself, focusing on the world around her and taking in the sights. She doesn’t seem to care much for cats and would prefer a cat-free home. Treats are a big hit with her, and she may have some Blue Heeler in her mix, explaining her inquisitive nature. Sadie is about 4 years old and still working on her house training skills. Questions about Sadie A
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Sadie A, with her Pit Bull Terrier and Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler mix, tends to do well in active homes that can provide regular walks and mental stimulation. She’d thrive best in a space where she can explore and satisfy her curiosity.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Sadie A’s breeds generally appreciate having access to a yard or frequent trips to parks for exercise. While a fenced yard is ideal, regular, energetic walks will help meet her needs if you don’t have one.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Pit Bull Terriers and Heelers can be great with children when well-socialized, but energy levels and herding instincts mean adult supervision is wise. Sadie A would likely do best in a home with respectful, dog-savvy kids.
