About Maple Syrup
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Maple Syrup—who responds best to "Maple"—and is every bit as sweet as her name suggests! Maple adores cuddling and bonds quickly with her people, yet remains independent enough to entertain herself with toys and naps when needed. She gets along well with familiar dogs and just needs calm introductions to new canine friends, making progress every day with sharing her toys, food, and attention. Maple is well-mannered on leash, with only a little pulling that can be easily improved with continued training. She is already mastering "sit" and would benefit from basic training, especially since she’s eager to learn when treats are involved! Her polite and goofy personality shines in every situation. Maple travels quietly in the car, enjoys quality time with humans, and is a fantastic cuddler—she’ll gladly sleep in bed with you or contentedly relax in her crate when asked. She can be trusted to free roam the home and only chews on her own toys, which she delights in playfully destroying. While Maple is currently heartworm positive, treatment is already underway and fully covered by Pet Alliance, ensuring she receives excellent care. She’s a sweet, easygoing companion who can’t wait to join a loving family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
