About Boomer
Meet Boomer, a big-hearted, 65-pound brindle and golden mixed breed waiting in Sanford, FL for his forever home. Boomer is about four years old and thrives around his people—he’s at his best with plenty of human companionship. He’s a morning walk kind of guy, loves ball games in the yard, and just as easily unwinds on the couch with you. Volunteers who recently took Boomer for a day out say he’s polite and well-behaved—he just wants to be a part of the family. Boomer is neutered, fully vaccinated, and house trained. He needs a home without cats, as he can get too amped up around them. While he sometimes does well with the right mellow, playful dog, he’s ideally looking to be your one and only—he deserves to be the center of attention. A fenced yard is recommended so he can safely romp and play. Boomer’s best fit is with someone home most of the day, ready to give him structure and affection. Fun fact: With a birthday of February 21, Boomer is a Pisces—dogs born under this sign are known for being gentle but can be strong-willed. Give Boomer a chance and he’ll show you just how loyal a friend can be. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
