About Buddy
Buddy is the shelterās longest-term guest and a true goofball at heart. This big hound loves nothing more than tearing around the yard, burning off energy. Heāll get along with other dogs, but slow and mindful introductions are important for him. Buddy isnāt suited to living with cats or smaller dogs. Physically, heās got a classic hound build, finished off with a short, cream and reddish coat that gleams when heās active. Currently, Buddy is dealing with heartworms, but his care team will cover his treatmentāyou simply need to give him a quiet, warm place to recover. He hasnāt mastered house training yet, so a patient, understanding environment will help him thrive. Born January 30, Buddy is an Aquarius, so expect an independent spirit with some quirky charm. Could you be the one to finally give Buddy the permanent home heās spent years waiting for? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
