About Elsa
Elsa and her bonded brother Sam, were born in a feral cat colony, spending the first few months of their lives there. Eventually, they made their way to a nearby home, where they found food left outside for other outdoor cats. The homeowner, noticing them, provided a warm outdoor cat house on the porch during the recent cold snap to give them shelter. Elsa and Sam began greeting the homeowner when food was brought out. Elsa was more reluctant to approach the homeowner. But eventually, she was able to pick her up, along with her brother, and take them for their spay/neuter surgeries, rabies vaccination, FVRCP vaccination, deworming, combo testing (which came back negative), and flea/tick treatment. Although we typically follow TNVR (Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return) protocols, these two were too young and too friendly to be returned to the colony, especially with the high coyote activity in the area. If you are looking for two felines to give a loving forever home to, please contact us and we will send you an adoption application.
