About Cash
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Cash was rescued from the euthanasia list at a Houston shelter and has quickly proven to be a gentle soul with a real desire to bond with people. After arriving with a paw injury that is still healing, he came out of his shell in his foster home and is known for his adorable leg and foot hugs whenever he greets his people, always eager for head or belly rubs. Currently, Cash is taking brief, easy walks due to his recovering foot and has shown no reactivity to other dogs, people, cats, or cars. He is friendly with the other dogs and cats in his foster home, offering neutral greetings and respecting boundaries. In the home, Cash enjoys spending time beside his foster, whether she's working from home or relaxing in the yard. He is house trained, crate trained, and has not had any accidents. Cash is starting to enjoy toys—especially squeaky soft ones—and is learning to fetch a ball in the yard. With his moderate energy level and loving, gentle personality, Cash is truly a gem and would make a wonderful, devoted companion for the right home. Cash is currently being fostered near Beaumont, TX. As a fun fact, with a birthday of November 5th, Cash is a Scorpio, a sign known for loyalty and deep affection. What are you waiting for?
