Blue is a small senior Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, about 9 years old and 30 lbs, with a huge heart and plenty of quirks to keep you smiling. He spent five years in a home before being returned, but has proven time and again he's sweeter than his reputation lets on. Blue is playful, spunky, and absolutely fixated on treats and lap time. He is legendary for his silly muddy face washes after meals and his cheeky, one-track mind—your lap, a good butt scratch, and maybe a snack or two. While he carries an extra fat lump on his chest, the vet says it's nothing to worry about and Blue is healthy, just working on slimming down a bit. He does well with other dogs and cats, though his bravado disappears in a hurry when things get noisy. Blue is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained.
