About Charlee
This could be the start of something paw-some. Charlee is searching for a calm, peaceful home where she can finally relax and feel secure. After years of chaos, this 5.5-year-old spayed female pit bull mix is eager for a stable routine she can trust. Charlee would thrive best in an adult-only environment, either as the only pet or with a calm, friendly dog her size—she is currently living harmoniously with another dog after a slow, careful introduction, demonstrating her capacity to adapt if given patience and time. House trained to perfection, Charlee has never had an accident in her foster home. While initially wary of strangers, she warms up beautifully with patience, treats, and her absolute favorite: back scratches! She’s become comfortable sleeping in her crate at night, but truly would love companionship during the day as being alone isn’t her favorite. Charlee’s adventurous spirit shines on car rides where she’s the perfect co-pilot. A huge snuggle bug, she delights in tennis ball games, tug-of-war, and getting into stuffed toys. Walks are a favorite pastime—except in very cold weather—and her intelligence shows as she quickly picks up new commands. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
