About Casper
Start your journey together! Apply now. Casper and his companion Lumi arrived at the rescue after being found abandoned in a forest, frightened and unsure. These two one-year-old Parsons Jack Russell Terrier mixes, each weighing around 16–20 lbs, are inseparable and have become each other's support system. Casper, ever playful and eager to trust, offers Lumi the confidence she needs, while Lumi follows his lead, remaining a bit more reserved and wary of human touch. Over time, both are discovering the joys of toys and play, especially enjoying the company of a gentle female Jack Russell in their foster home. Both dogs are crate trained and feel most secure in their crates; they follow people around the house with curiosity, learning to settle and observe from a distance. Because of their shy and sensitive nature, they need a calm, adult-only household with a secure 5–6 foot fence, no children or teens, and ideally a home with a small dog or just each other's company. Trust is growing every day, and with patience and kindness, their true personalities will blossom. They are currently located in Land O Lakes and are a bonded pair seeking a safe, loving environment—together. Fun fact: Born on November 4th, Casper is a Scorpio, known for being resilient and determined! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
