Meet Toffee! This adorable dachshund mix weighs just 14 lbs and is a bundle of joy at 6 years old, although she acts like a playful pup. Toffee loves to follow you around, steal your pillows for cozy naps, and greet you every morning with sweet kisses. A true little shadow, she enjoys watching the world from the window. Toffee gets along well with other dogs when introduced properly, preferring a confident, chill buddy to show her the ropes. Ideally, she thrives in the company of a small to medium-sized dog, but would also be content as your one and only if you work from home. In your absence, she behaves well and doesn't destroy anything. Although she is decent on a leash, some more practice would benefit her. Please note that she has a high prey drive, so cats might be a challenge. Toffee came to us as a stray and needs a dedicated owner who's serious about keeping her safe. We recommend using escape-proof equipment, as she’s quick and little. With her being spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy, she’s ready for her forever home.
