Tabbouleh is a two-year-old Chihuahua mix with a lot of presence for his size—he’s roughly 25 pounds and has a personality much bigger than you might expect. He may have a dash of Dachshund in his background, and definitely doesn’t fit the “tiny lap dog” mold. This dog is pure energy, always ready to play, and absolutely loves human interaction. When the staff first met Tabbouleh, he made it clear that people were his world, flipping over right away for belly rubs and angling for attention. He thrives on being close to his humans and checks in frequently, whether he’s running around or settling in for some snuggle time. If you want a companion who will keep you laughing and insist on joining you for every activity, he’s your guy. He loves lap time and play time in equal measure. Tabbouleh still has some things to learn—he’s not fully comfortable with leash walks yet and isn’t house trained, but he’s enthusiastic, willing, and would benefit from a patient, active adopter who’s ready to invest in his training. He got along well with other dogs in playgroup but prefers not to share his personal space, so a home that can give him his own spot is ideal.
