About Ernie
Meet Ernie, a senior Pug/Chihuahua mix who’s all about comfort and companionship. At a sturdy 35 pounds, Ernie spends most of his days enjoying the simple things: lounging in a soft dog bed or curling up quietly nearby his people. Affection is his currency, though he won't say no to a treat—he's working on keeping those snack cravings in check for his health. Age has brought Ernie some hearing loss and a touch of arthritis, but otherwise he’s in pretty good shape. He’s house-trained, uses a doggy door, and fits right in with other dogs and children. What he most wants is a peaceful home where someone is around to keep him company for much of the day. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving dog to share the quiet moments, Ernie might be the right fit. Your new best friend is just one click away.
