Denver is a very sweet, affectionate boy who shows his love in the most endearing way-lots and lots of kisses. If you're a fan of doggy licks, Denver is absolutely your guy. Licking is his love language, and he's always eager to share affection with his people. Denver is extremely food-motivated and very eager for treats. Because of this, we believe he may have experienced food insecurity earlier in life, which has made him especially focused on snacks and mealtimes. This also means he's highly motivated for training, as food is a big reward for him. He would likely do best as an only dog, where he can feel secure and confident, or possibly with another very social, well-trained dog who respects boundaries. We are unsure how Denver would do with cats, but given his young, trainable age, he has great potential with proper introductions and guidance. Denver is a loving, eager-to-please pup who just wants consistency, reassurance, and plenty of positive reinforcement. With the right home, he'll repay you with loyalty, devotion, and endless kisses
