About Cruisertiny Cutie!
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Cruiser is a sweet, small beagle mix around 3 years old and weighing 14 lbs. He came to the rescue after being hit by a car and bravely recovered from both a broken hip and a fractured rear leg. Through FHO surgery and a metal plate in his leg, Cruiser has made tremendous progress. Simple daily stretches help his recovery, and his caregivers are happy to demonstrate these easy exercises. Cruiser is initially shy with people, but time in a loving foster home has helped him build confidence. He’s started learning house training, crate training, and leash walking, making strides every day. Cruiser feels most at ease around other dogs—especially those who understand social cues—and he has shown he does well with cats and various farm animals like horses, chickens, goats, and sheep. With patience and special treats, especially bacon, Cruiser lets his affectionate side shine and enjoys being petted. His coloring resembles a beagle, although he is smaller in size with slightly shorter ears. Currently, Cruiser sleeps comfortably on a futon with other house dogs, and he often sneaks into the bedroom to snag a treat or a cozy dog bed. He is truly loved by his caretakers and is sure to steal your heart too! His adoption will include a complimentary training manual. Cruiser is fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed, bathed, socialized, and loved. Complete medical records, a leash, and a collar are provided at adoption. Beagles & Buddies provides ongoing support and appreciates your understanding that fees go toward rehabilitating and caring for each dog. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
