About Cruisertiny Cutie!
Cruisertiny Cutie! is about 3 years old and weighs in at 14 lbs. He came into rescue after being struck by a car, suffering from a broken hip and a fractured right rear leg. Surgery and a metal plate set him on the path to recovery. He’s a bit wary of people at first, but months in a foster home have helped. He’s getting the hang of house training, can handle crate time, and has started learning to walk on leash. He’s fine with cats and has been around horses, chickens, goats, and sheep without fuss. Other dogs, especially smaller or medium-size, help him relax. He trusts slowly—you’ll need to be patient and move at his pace. Rewards and treats (especially real bacon) go a long way toward winning him over. Cruiser often sleeps up front on a futon or chooses a dog bed with a friend; he just needs reliability and a calm home. He’s house trained and gets along well with other dogs.
