Sammy is an 11-year-old small beagle, weighing about 28 lbs and based in Apple Valley, CA. He’s house trained and knows his way around a leash. Sammy has generally done well with other dogs, but he tends to be a little too curious with really small dogs under 8 lbs and can become testy around food. He takes treats gently. Sammy appears mostly like a faded lemon beagle now, his red tones softened with age, so you get a true senior look. He’s settled in temperament, would do well with older children, but isn’t the right fit for homes with toddlers. Sammy can be an only dog or enjoy having a calm canine companion.
