About Dakota
Dakota is a young pinscher mix, about four years old, whose mission in life is to find her person and never let go. She landed in a rough spot before rescue, but now she’s ready for a fresh start and a new home. Dakota bonds hard and fast—spend a little time with her, toss in a belly rub or two, and she’ll be your biggest fan. She thrives on making her people laugh and has a goofy streak that comes out when she’s comfortable. During the day, Dakota has impeccable house manners. She’s completely housebroken, does great on a leash, and sticks to her own toys. She knows several commands already—sit, down, shake, and release—and she’s working diligently on her “stay.” Evenings are reserved for pure cuddle mode, giving you all the affection she’s got. Dakota should be the only pet in your home so she can soak up all the love and attention. She’s not a fit for households with other dogs or cats, but she does get along with kids. With more training, she may continue to build her confidence around other dogs, but for now, her heart belongs to you. She comes with her own stash of supplies and toys—all that’s missing is someone to love her back. If you want a loyal, loving companion who will be your shadow and bring plenty of laughs, Dakota is waiting in Nipomo, CA. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
