About Blitz
Meet Blitz, an impressive 85-lb Doberman male eagerly waiting for his forever home. Almost three years old, he boasts a striking dark red coat that leans towards chocolate. Blitz is currently undergoing training in the Los Angeles area to address some past fears and quirks. He shows affection toward people he trusts but tends to be tense and suspicious around strangers, especially in enclosed spaces, which his training is gradually helping to improve. In his previous foster home, Blitz thrived alongside a female Doberman, indicating he gets along well with other dogs. However, his size and strength mean he is best suited for a home without small children. With high energy levels, he'll thrive in a yard where he can run and play freely. Blitz is also hypo-thyroid and requires inexpensive medication, likely for life. As a Euro-Doberman, he boasts heavier bones and a larger head compared to American Dobies. A substantial and strong dog, Blitz requires an experienced adopter who understands his needs. If you think you are the right fit, please email for an application. He's currently in California but available for meet-and-greets in Oregon. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
