New places and situations can feel scary at first, but once I start to feel safe, my playful and affectionate personality really shines. I do well with other dogs and enjoy their company, especially when it's time to play and get some energy out. I'm very friendly and get excited when meeting new people. I've been around kids and can play a bit enthusiastically once I'm comfortable, so older or dog-savvy children would be a great fit for me. Being alone is something I'm still getting braver on. I feel most secure when my people are nearby, and I do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. A house would suit me better than an apartment so I can fully relax. I'm also on a special diet to support my urinary health and do best with a calm, predictable routine that helps me stay comfortable and confident.
