About Franklin

Franklin, sometimes called Frank, is a charming eight-year-old weighing around 11 pounds. When he first came to the rescue, he was dealing with tough skin and ear infections, but he’s much better now and it shows in his personality. Frank likes all people, although he has a habit of barking at anyone new who comes into the home—and sometimes even his own folks if they catch him off guard coming downstairs. Thankfully, he calms down quickly and is soon on the lookout for attention or a warm lap. He lives well with other dogs and, for a middle-aged guy, still gets bursts of playfulness. Franklin is friendly with children too. He isn’t house trained yet, but is eager to settle into a loving home. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
