Peppa is a beautiful senior Chihuahua with confidence, charm, and just the right amount of sass. This lovely little lady knows who she is and isn't afraid to show it! Peppa gets along with other dogs and even cats, though introductions can be a little rocky at first - she does like to be the boss, after all. Once everyone understands that she's royalty, things settle in nicely. She's wonderfully independent but also deeply affectionate with her person. Peppa is fully potty trained, eats and sleeps well, and absolutely loves her walks. Despite her petite size, she enjoys getting out and about and taking in the world around her. Like many seniors, Peppa values her comfort. If she's resting, she prefers to move on her own terms and can get a little grumpy if someone tries to pick her up or reposition her. She simply appreciates having her space respected - and when you do, she rewards you with loyalty and love. Peppa would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. She frets when left alone and truly needs a devoted companion who won't be gone for long stretches. She also doesn't enjoy being crated - she feels safest and happiest having the freedom to choose her cozy resting spots. Peppa is a special girl who needs an understanding, patient adopter who appreciates a strong-willed, loving senior companion. In the right home, she will be a devoted little shadow and a constant source of warmth and personality.
