Pickles’ story started rough, but he’s landed on his paws and is ready for a fresh chapter. He arrived after living rough, but thanks to a generous groomer and our rescue, he’s cleaned up well and thriving. Pickles is a sharp, friendly, athletic dog with a quick mind—he picks up new commands easily and could flourish with the right environment. He’s not the best match for a first-time pet owner, but an adopter with dog experience and a bit of patience will find him endlessly rewarding. He does well with older children and enjoys the company of other dogs, but hasn’t yet been tested with cats. A fence yard is strongly recommended because Pickles moves fast and loves to sprint. He responds to his name, his recall is strong, and he’s eager to connect with people who meet him halfway.
