About Mr. Rogers
Mr. Rogers came to the rescue through the local police after being found as a stray. He's been friendly with everyone he meets and does well with other dogs, though proper meet and greets are always required. Around farm animals and cats, he's shown no obsession, but hasn't truly mingled with them. He tends to guard his belongings, especially food, so a home with small children may not be the best fit and heāll appreciate having his own space. Given his background, this isnāt unusual. Mr. Rogers is happiest when he's with his people. Heād excel in a home with semi-active adults or a retired adopter looking for a steady companion to relax with, take short hikes, or play in the yard. Pairing him with another dog, preferably a female, could be the ideal situation for him. Recently, the vet found and treated him for internal parasites and noted an old hernia, but no treatment is needed since it doesn't impact his quality of life. Mr. Rogers is neutered, microchipped, and his vaccines are currentāheās ready for his forever home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
