About Pratt

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Say hello to Pratt, a charming 7-year-old male pug ready to experience the joys of a loving home for the first time. Previously used for breeding, everything about home life is new and sometimes overwhelming to him. Pratt is motivated by treats and meal times, enjoying all kinds of snacks including apples and carrots. While he gets along with other dogs and really appreciates the company of a calm and confident canine friend, he is working on house training and currently needs to wear a belly band. He’s crate trained and goes right in for a treat! Pratt is slow to warm up to people, especially men, and is very sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements. He is more comfortable around women and loves to keep close tabs on his trusted human. While he isn’t fully comfortable with being touched, his gentle and food-driven personality shines through as he warms up at his own pace. Because of his background, he requires a patient, understanding adopter and a securely fenced yard. Fireworks and bustling environments scare him, so a calm, predictable home is a must. Pratt only has four canine teeth left, making him a unique, snaggle-toothed companion foster mom affectionately calls a dream boat. If you’re looking for a sweet pug with lots of potential and you have the time, patience, and a doggy role model, Pratt might be the perfect fit. Please check the rescue's adoption procedures before reaching out. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
