About Lincoln
Lincoln is a classic velcro pug who wants to be wherever his people are. At 5 to 6 years old, he’s friendly, loving, and happiest when he gets to sleep in bed next to someone in the family. He’ll follow you from room to room and beam with joy if he gets to snuggle up on the couch, especially with kids. Lincoln will try to sneak food from toddlers and sometimes barks when he’s excited, hears people leave, or can't access certain rooms—his separation anxiety mostly shows up at home, not in new places. He’s happiest tucked in bed with the family, especially if he can sleep late. Lincoln had knee surgery in 2022, leaving him with a “cool scar,” but he runs and plays like normal and enjoys his routine walks and exploring new places. Allergies are managed with the right food, medicated baths, and occasional Cytopoint injections. Joint supplements will help keep him moving comfortably, and steady feeding routines keep his weight in the healthy range. He likes chew toys, small balls, treats, meeting new people, and going places. He’s house-trained, crate trained, enjoys the company of other dogs, and loves interacting with kids; though he’ll bark to join whatever play or activity is happening. Lincoln is protective around the house, keeping an eye on things from the front windows, but mostly he just wants to be your loyal companion at home or out and about. What are you waiting for?
