About Gene
Gene was found wandering the hot Phoenix streets, worn down by exhaustion and struggling with a serious perianal hernia. After his much-needed surgery, he bounced back into a spry, hungry little senior with a surprising turn of speed ā donāt be shocked if he tries to eat through a whole bag of food! Geneās heart is all soft edges. At night, he loves nothing more than curling up in his fosterās arms. Dog company suits him best when his canine companions are calm and give him a little personal space. Even as a senior, Gene still enjoys short indoor trots and catches a playful streak now and then. He wears belly bands inside just to keep everything tidy and holds the honorary title of āDiaper Gangā leader around the house. Now healthy and eager for his next chapter, Gene is ready to bring his gentle loyalty into a home where he can soak up plenty of love. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
