About Princeton
Princeton is a big, scruffy ball of energy, always ready for adventure as long as you can keep up. With a heart full of love and an endless playful spirit, he admits to some stubbornness—he loves to roughhouse and sometimes play bites when he's excited. He needs a patient, consistent leader who’s willing to help him learn good manners and social skills. Princeton thrives with lots of activity, so if your idea of fun includes hiking, running, or raucous play, you’re his type of person. He finds joy in water and needs a home stocked with strong toys and enrichment activities to channel his curiosity and prevent boredom. Princeton hasn’t spent much time in a home and might be unfamiliar with routines, basic commands, stairs, or furniture, so patience is key. Experience with under-socialized or high-energy dogs is a plus. He is silly and fun to watch and never fails to entertain. Princeton doesn’t get along with cats but has tons to offer the right home willing to help him thrive. Born on February 11, he’s an Aquarius – expect an extra dose of independence and quirkiness. Questions about Princeton
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Princeton, as a Wheaten Terrier/Terrier mix, does best in an active household with plenty of daily engagement. Terriers generally enjoy homes with yard space or owners willing to provide frequent outdoor exercise.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Princeton will thrive with access to a secure outdoor space where he can play, explore, and burn off energy. A yard is ideal, but a committed owner who can provide daily runs or hikes will meet his needs as well.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Many terrier mixes, including Princeton, can be playful and affectionate with older children, but his rough play style may not be a match for small kids. Supervision and clear boundaries are important.
