About Luna
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Luna is searching for her forever home and brings the spirit of youth with her, even at 11 years old. She adores the company of adults and older kids, eagerly showering affection and kisses every chance she gets—her playful heart truly shines! If you’re ever distracted, Luna will let you know with gentle nudges, ever the fan of close cuddles and love. Luna’s ideal day includes energetic runs outside, followed by snuggle sessions on the couch where she tries to keep in contact with her people. She’s happiest as your sole companion, thriving best as the only pet due to a strong prey drive and a need to avoid cats and small dogs. Luna does wonderfully meeting new people, showing only friendliness and zero aggression toward anyone. She is both house and crate trained, and can be left out in a dog-proofed home. Luna does prefer to keep her toys to herself, so a family with older children is recommended. A secure, fenced yard at least 5 to 6 feet high is necessary due to her impressive jumping, ensuring her outdoor adventures stay safe. Luna is currently being fostered by Doberman Rescue Minnesota, and adopters are asked to visit her in her foster home within their approved adoption area. They are waiting with paws crossed!
