About Luna
Luna is an 11-year-old Doberman Pinscher who still brings plenty of life and energy into every day. She thrives with older kids and adults, showing a lot of affection—she’s the type to nudge your hand if you ever stop petting her and is generous with her kisses. Luna favors her people and loves her squeaky toys, sometimes trying to share them with you. She prefers a home where she can be your one-and-only pet, as she doesn't get along with cats and her foster hasn't exposed her to large dogs, though she’s done okay with small seniors. A fenced yard is best; she’s content to run and prance outside, then settle on the couch for a good snuggle. Luna’s great on her own in a dog-proofed home and doesn’t need a crate. She’s fully house trained and has never shown aggression to people, but she can be protective of her toys, so younger children aren’t recommended. For her comfort, smaller meals throughout the day work best, as larger servings can be tough for her to digest. Luna is being fostered near Minneapolis, MN and all adoptions require a meet-and-greet.
