About Santa
Meet Santa, a charming and well-mannered 5-year-old Doberman Pinscher. Previously known as Otis, he returned to our care after his original owner could no longer provide for him. This resonates with our mission: every pet has a forever place with us. Santa had obstruction surgery in the past and now has a sensitive digestion. He requires a premium diet with small, high-digestible meals and all-natural treats. He’s house trained and signals when he needs to go out, showcasing his intelligence. A polite eater, he behaves well in his crate during the day and enjoys snuggling in the mornings. He thrives around children, having been gentle with both older children and younger ones in his past. In public, Santa is a friendly socialite, enjoying the company of people. He plays well with dogs, loving activities like wrestling, running, and tug-of-war. Though he’s curious about cats, he displays no aggression. With a love for play and cuddling, Santa is eager to learn. He’s mastered "sit" and is progressing with commands like "lay down" and "wait." His enthusiastic nature makes training fun, though he may pull during walks, so a training collar is recommended. A fenced yard would be ideal for his adventures. This sweet boy is currently in the care of Doberman Rescue Minnesota, and he’s ready to find his next loving home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
