Sun Bear came to us in May of 2025 with her babies. She was a fantastic but fierce mama. In true calico fashion, this sleek and beautiful girl does life on her own terms. She couldn't care less who is in her way. While she follows staff members around the shelter and will get pretty close to her former foster mama, she still only wants us to put her with our eyes. She needs someone to continue to work with her and give her the space she demands.
