Marty was originally at El Jefe when we took over supplying them with kitties. He was adopted but after a short time, we had to go retrieve him from his home because his owners were afraid of him. He was not given appropriate time to decompress and trust them. As you can imagine, going through something like that can be a setback. In his case, we feel like it ended up being beneficial. He's really coming around. He'll come to see some of our staff. He's still hanging on the high catwalks but he's interacting. He would do great in a patient home who will let him hide until he's ready.
