About Banks
Banks is a big, easygoing Labrador mix with the kind of charm that sneaks up on you. He wandered the Georgia countryside with his sister until animal control picked them up, but nobody came for them. Now sitting at roughly 80 lbs and around four and a half years old, he’s settled well into foster life, showing a real preference for basking in the sun or goofing around with other dogs in the yard. Banks has tested positive for heartworm, but his rescue covers all medication at no cost and follows a protocol backed by a veterinary cardiologist, so his outlook is good. Despite what he’s been through, Banks is quick to hand out tail wags and affection. He gets along with other dogs and relishes simple joys, making him well-suited to anyone looking for a low-key, cheerful companion. He's hoping the next part of his journey will be finding someone to finally call his own. Your new best friend is just one click away.
