Meet Cain 🖤 Blind French Bulldog | Special Needs | Single-Pet Home Preferred Cain is a loving, playful, and people-oriented blind Frenchie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He thrives on human connection and wants nothing more than to be close to his person—whether that’s curled up on the couch, resting at your feet, or soaking up affection and belly rubs. Despite being blind, Cain navigates the world confidently. He walks well on leash, does great outdoors, and has friendly, neutral interactions with dogs he meets outside of the home. He’s also been respectful and appropriate with cats and has never shown interest in chasing them. At home, Cain does best as the only dog. He has strong resource-guarding behaviors around food and high-value items and will snap when he feels his space is threatened—especially during feeding times. Because of this, he is not suitable for a home with other dogs or young children who may try to intervene during moments of excitement or arousal. Cain has shown affection toward kids but has snapped when children attempted to physically stop him from engaging with other dogs. For everyone’s safety, we are seeking an adult-only or experienced home that understands management, structure, and clear boundaries.
