He gains confidence when he has another dog friend around and may do especially well in a home with a calm canine companion. Earl is okay being picked up, though he may play a bit hard to get until he feels comfortable. When it's time to relax, Earl loves curling up in a cozy dog bed, or burrowing into a blanket if one is nearby. Cold weather isn't his favorite, but he's very efficient about getting his business done outside and will happily let you know when he's ready to head back in.
