Meet the extraordinary Beau! 🌟 This charming young lad is ready to steal hearts everywhere he goes. Beau is adored by everyone he's met at the shelter, thanks to his sweet, loving temperament that shines like a beacon of warmth! ❤️ Sadly, he found himself in need of a new home because his previous owner’s landlord was not as dog-friendly as he is. Beau is a delightful teenager with oodles of energy and a friendly disposition. 🐾 This strong boy walks like he owns the leash, and he would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard, at least 4 to 5 feet high. It’s best if he can’t see outside the fence, as he gets easily distracted by the local wildlife—frolicking squirrels, bouncing bunnies, and even deer! 🦌 Once he sets his sights on something fun, good luck breaking his fixation! He'll need some obedience training to master those outdoor walks when temptations abound. And let’s talk about his love for adventure! 🚗 Beau can’t wait to get his driver’s license! He absolutely adores jumping into any car he can find, whether it’s the neighbor’s car, the vet's van, or even the FedEx truck! Once settled in, he’s ready for adventure, always looking forward to the next thrilling ride! Who knows, maybe he'll be applying for that Amazon delivery job soon! 😂 Now, Beau is a one-pet kind of guy, which means he’d do best in a home without other animals or young children under 12. While he isn’t aggressive, he does like to guard any high-value snacks or toys he has—don’t mistake that for being unfriendly! 🍖 He simply prefers to keep his treasures safe. Kongs, antlers, and marrow bones are his ideal toys, but keep in mind, he’ll guard them fiercely, especially if he thinks sharing is in the cards! Currently, due to a shortage of fosters, Beau is living in a boarding kennel but he’s doing wonderfully there, using his doggy door like a pro! He keeps his kennel clean and enjoys treats with his human caretakers but shows his guarding instinct with other dogs.
