Bruno
AvailableBruno is a Rottweiler in Patterson, NY. He is an adult, large male who is neutered, house trained, and up to date on vaccinations. Bruno needs an experienced adopter and is best as a single animal in the home.
About Bruno
Bruno is a striking, mature Rottweiler who has settled into his adult years with a solid, charming presence. He thrives on exercise, a no-nonsense routine, and an environment where boundaries are clear. Bruno needs an adopter experienced with Rottweilers or large, working breeds—someone who can confidently manage a dog with strong protective instincts. He doesn’t like to share his toys or food and is at his best in a predictable, proactive household that respects his quirks. He’s not a fit for homes with children. Bruno’s protective side makes it risky to have him around impulsive little ones or any situation that may tempt possessiveness. He’s made great progress through a structured training program, learning to manage his resource guarding; his trainer can teach his future adopter exactly how to reinforce these methods at home. While Bruno enjoys the company of other dogs during organized walks and activities, he needs to be your only animal at home, as toys or high-value objects could stir up competition. When routine and boundaries are in place, Bruno shows his soft side—he’ll sit and wait for meals, walk politely on leash, and lean in for attention and head rubs with his trusted humans. Bruno wants to be someone’s main companion, and with the right structure, his best side always shines through. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
