About Harry
Harry is a happy-go-lucky, medium-sized mixed breed with hints of Boxer and Hound, sporting a short brindle and white/cream coat. He started life as a bottle baby—his mom was too old to provide milk, so he’s been in rescue care since he was a week old. Harry battled through puppy strangles as a tiny pup, but you’d never know it from the healthy, energetic dog he is now. He loves toys, snacks, and cuddles, though he’d rather not do his business in the rain. Harry is house trained, up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, and receives heartworm and flea prevention each month. When out and about, Harry can get a little nervous and looks for reassurance from his foster, but he adores other dogs and would benefit from a confident dog buddy at home. He’s more comfortable around older kids and tends to steer clear of younger children. Harry’s birthday makes him a Sagittarius—curious, playful, and always looking for new adventures. He’s seeking a committed adopter in the Winston-Salem area ready to welcome a cheerful companion into their life. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Harry
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Harry, as a Boxer/Hound mixed-breed dog, adapts well to homes that offer structure and moderate activity. He thrives in households with room to play and committed owners who enjoy an affectionate, energetic companion.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Harry would benefit from regular access to a securely fenced yard or frequent walks. A Boxer/Hound mix enjoys outdoor exercise and mental stimulation but doesn’t require vast acreage.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Harry tends to avoid younger children, so a home with adults or older kids is best. Boxer/Hound mixes are generally gentle but can be sensitive to rambunctious households.
