About Harry
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Harry is a delightful young mixed breed pup, believed to be part Boxer and Hound, with a striking short brindle and white coat. Born on November 14, Harry enjoys snacks, toys, and plenty of cuddles. He's been a cherished member of the rescue since he was only a week old, raised as a bottle baby after his mom was unable to nurse. Despite early health struggles with puppy strangles, Harry is now thriving—healthy, happy, and full of charm. Harry is playful and fun-loving, always ready for an adventure but sometimes a bit shy in new public environments, preferring reassurance from his person. He loves spending time with other dogs and would especially flourish in a home with another confident canine companion. Harry has been neutered, microchipped, and received all age-appropriate vaccinations; he's also house trained and on monthly preventatives for heartworm and fleas. While he's generally avoidant of young children and would do best in a family with older kids (if any), this sweet pup is ready to give endless love to the right home. Adopters should be within a 45-mile radius of Winston-Salem. Ready to set up a meet and greet and give Harry the loving home he deserves? Start your journey together! Apply now.
