Velma arrived at her third stop with a smushed face and more energy than anyone knew what to do with. She spent her first couple weeks burning off steamāracing around, making every inch of the rescue's farm her track. Now her wild side has mellowed into a steady, eager zest for life. Velma needs an adopter who doesnāt just put up with her energy, but sees it for what it isājoy, not a burden. She loves other dogs and brings a brave, playful spirit to every pack. She does not get along with cats, so sheās ideal for homes with allergies or just no feline roommates. Velma is affectionate, smart, and has a real sense of humor once she trusts you.
