Bailey is friendly with dogs, cats, and kids, and is looking for a patient adopter committed to her ongoing care, especially her long-term Valley Fever medication.

About Bailey

Bailey comes with a gentle soul and a loving heart that’s impossible to resist. She’s a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she pours on the affection and sticks close to her person. This velcro dog likes to relax around the house, especially if treats or a good game of fetch are involved. Her energy level is laid-back—she’s up for morning strolls and low-key hangs, but doesn’t demand nonstop excitement. She’s good with dogs, cats, and children she meets, and has built respectful relationships with both canine and feline housemates. Bailey knows "sit" and continues to pick up more cues. She walks great on a leash, handles baths, nail trims, and brushing without fuss, and is housebroken and crate trained. Bailey does take medication for Valley Fever and needs an adopter willing to stay on top of her lifelong meds and veterinary visits. She handles her pills and eyedrops easily, and her routine isn’t hard to follow. Bailey prefers not to be left alone for long stretches and would do best with someone who can help her work through mild separation anxiety. She’s shy around new people but warms up with patience and some treats. She’s adaptive, quick to bond, and loved by everyone who gets to know her. If you want a tagalong buddy, a gentle, affectionate friend, and a cheerful companion, Bailey could be the perfect fit. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
